Armchair Travel: Historically Black Colleges and Universities In-Person

HBCUs have been a path of promise toward the American dream for more than 150 years. Resistance and refusing to be denied a higher education created a set of institutions that would influence and shape this country for centuries to come. Join us for a documentary, which examines the evolution of these unique organizations, beginning in 1837 with the "Institute for Colored Youth," up through today's campuses.  (80 min)
