Author Visit – "Margaret Hamilton From Cleveland, Ohio to the Land of Oz" by Don Billie
Author Don Billie will discuss his book Margaret Hamilton: From Cleveland, Ohio to the Land of Oz. The presentation will describe how this kind-hearted kindergarten teacher from Cleveland became one of the movie's scariest villains of all time and was severely burned during the filming as the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz. Cleveland Public Library's collection includes pictures and other items related to Margaret Hamilton that will be on display. A question-and-answer session with the author will follow the presentation.
Books will be available for purchase and signing.
