CANCELLED - Virtual Program – They Came from Ohio: Annie Oakley & Erma Bombeck In-Person

This program has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.

This is an online event that you can view from an internet connected device such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Join us as historian Susan Cannovino leads us into a deep dive into the lives of two fascinating Ohio born-and-bred ladies: Annie Oakley & Erma Bombeck. Annie Oakley was an American sharpshooter and folk heroine who starred in Buffalo Bill's Wild West show. Erma Bombeck was an American humorist who achieved great popularity for her newspaper humor column describing suburban home life, syndicated from 1965 to 1996. She published fifteen books, most of which became bestsellers. Both of these ladies became legends in their own times, and displayed the gumption and drive all should aspire to.
